L’Essence de Provence—Yes, that’s the lavender. During the summer the entire country is covered with a blue-violet shimmer: the lavender fields are in full blossom. Two blue colors rule the Côte d’Azur. That’s the blue of the sea and the blue of the lavender. Matisse, Picasso, Yves Klein, all of them became slaves of these two Blues. It is the color and the smell of yearning. The color and the smell always draw us back to this place.

For this reason this apartment got its name. It used to be the atelier of a painter. The large window front towards the garden still shows the original usage and brings light and warmness into this two room apartment with space (60 sqm) for 2 to 4 persons. Crossing the large terrace with view over Vence you step into an elegant and light living room (sleeping sofa, dinning table and open kitchen).
